browser based decentralized, p2p chat application on sepolia test network
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I need a chat application that is browser based, runs on sepolia test network, and is P2P.
The app will run like this:
A user must use their metamask to log into the app. A smart contract will be required here.
If a user has to chat with another user, that user's ethereum account ID must be known. Also, a smart contract must be executed for the first time to be able to chat with them. Once this process is done, the users will be able to chat freely.
As for how actually the chatting goes, a room will be created for both the users. If they wish to add another user to the room, that user must execute the smart contract too. Chats will be stored locally, no third party storage solution will be used. Also, if end to end encryption isn't possible, the chats must at least be encrypted locally so that they can't be accessed outside the app.
The UI is similar to WhatsApp Web. There is no requirement for any other features such as video calling and file sharing. I need this project purely for academic purposes, so it's fine if the project can provide basic functionalities.
