Solidity Developer Needed - Fix a Vulnerability in Our Smart Contract

Job ID: 40513854

Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD

Overview:

We have a Solidity smart contract, and a code review pointed out a vulnerability in it. We're looking for a Solidity developer to fix it. It's a focused, well-defined task — you don't need to be a full-time auditor, just a solid Solidity dev who understands how the common issues work and can patch one cleanly. Full details (contract code + the reported issue + a test setup) will be shared privately with selected candidates.
Scope of work:

Look at the reported vulnerability and the relevant part of the contract
Reproduce / confirm it in a test environment
Fix the issue following good Solidity practices
Add a test or two showing it's resolved and nothing else broke
Briefly explain what the problem was and how you fixed it

Requirements:

Good working knowledge of Solidity
Familiar with common contract issues (reentrancy, access control, overflow/precision, etc.)
Comfortable with Foundry or Hardhat for testing
Clear communication

Deliverables:

Patched contract code
A quick test covering the fix
A short note explaining the change

Budget: $300 – $1,200 depending on complexity and speed — flexible for the right person.
Timeline: A few days. Confirm the issue quickly after getting access, full fix within roughly 3–5 days.
To apply, please send:

The word "Ready"
A line or two about your Solidity experience
Your rate (fixed or hourly) and earliest availability

This is the first of several tasks — more Solidity / Web3 work to follow — so we'd like to find someone to work with longer term.
