Ethereum DeFi Smart Contract

Job ID: 40620500

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I’m launching a DeFi application on the Ethereum network and need a developer who can take full ownership of the smart-contract layer. The core goal is to design, code, and deploy Solidity contracts that power the protocol’s functionality while keeping security and gas efficiency front of mind.

Key expectations
• Architect and write production-ready smart contracts for a DeFi application (Solidity on Ethereum).
• Create migration/deployment scripts and configure Hardhat or Truffle for local and testnet environments.
• Build a concise test suite (Mocha/Chai or similar) covering edge cases, exploits, and upgrade paths.
• Optimise gas usage and follow current best practices for re-entrancy guards, overflow checks, and access control (OpenZeppelin libraries welcome).
• Provide clear, developer-focused documentation outlining contract functions, events, and upgrade or governance mechanics.

A successful hand-off will include verified bytecode on Etherscan, comprehensive unit tests, and a short walkthrough explaining how to deploy and interact with the contracts from a dApp front end (ethers.js/web3.js). If you have prior experience shipping audited DeFi protocols, let me know—links and repo references encouraged.
