Blockchain Solidity smart contract project
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The project is to assist users of a blockchain staking protocol obtain a superior interest rate by transferring their tokens to my wallet, establishing a stake in my wallet which has the ability to improve the interest rate, and then transferring the stake back to the user (after a percentage of their tokens are kept as payment) .
The Staking Protocol
• Users of the protocol buy the protocol TOKEN.
• They can stake their TOKEN to earn interest paid in TOKEN
At the outset of the project there was a limited supply of a boost token (B-TOKEN)
• The B-TOKEN enabled stakers to get a much better interest rate
• The supply of B-TOKEN is now finished.
• Without a B-TOKEN in their wallet, users can’t access the preferential interest rate
• The protocol smart contracts allow users to send their stakes from wallet to wallet
• The protocol smart contracts allow users to name their stakes for convenience
• I have a B-TOKEN
The Objective
The project is to assist users of a blockchain staking protocol obtain the preferential interest rate
The objective is to create a service where users can
• send their TOKEN to my wallet
• I take a % of their TOKEN as payment
• I then create a stake in my wallet (which has the B-TOKEN).
o This is done by interacting with the TOKEN smart contracts
• This stake then has the better interest rate
• I then send the stake back to their wallet
o This is done by interacting with the TOKEN smart contracts
User Input
Users would need to provide:
• The length they want to stake their TOKEN for (longer pays better)
• The name they want to give for their stake (stakes can be named)
• The wallet address they want the stake to be returned to (autofilled with their wallet address by default)
Comments
The protocol smart contracts allows for the transfer of stakes from one wallet to another.
Ideally the service would operate in a trustless manner
The front end would
• explain the process
• calculate the benefit to the user of using the service
• detail the costs
• compare the value of the users stake with and without the service
• allow the users to leave a short testimonial
Skills required
• You have good English skills
• You have experience building web pages, using a hosting service
• You have experience coding in Solidity
• You have a good foundational knowledge of blockchain technology
• You have experience coding Solidity smart contract interactions
