Upgrade Retro-Style Video Guest Book

I am looking for a skilled electronics technician or hobbyist experienced with component modification to upgrade a "Retro style" style video guest book (pictured).
The goal is to improve the recording quality by replacing the existing internal camera and microphone with higher-fidelity components.
The Task Includes:
• Component Sourcing/Advice: Recommending a high-quality, wide-angle camera module (e.g., 1080p or 4K USB/MIPI module) and a discrete, high-gain microphone that will fit within the existing housing.
• Disassembly & Installation: Carefully opening the unit and swapping the original hardware for the new modules.
• Integration: Ensuring the new components interface correctly with the internal software/storage system.
• Testing: Verifying clear audio and sharp video recording without lag.
Requirements:
• Experience with small electronics, soldering, and component integration.
• Familiarity with single-board computers (like Raspberry Pi or similar) or internal USB camera modules is a plus.
