Solder new cells into 15 original first generation "cigalike" e-cigs

Job ID: 40421623

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I have fifteen disassembled original first generation "cigalike" e-cigarettes waiting for fresh new cells. The spent batteries still have to come out; I’ll supply the brand-new replacements along with step-by-step instructions I’ve written from my own repair notes. Once each cell is tinned and soldered, the board and wiring need to slide back into the original metal tubes that I will ship with the lot.

After reassembly I need every unit verified for both firing (making sure the LED end eliminates, and it produces vapor,) and charging. A simple functional puff/hit-to-vape check is the first pass, then confirmation that each battery takes and holds a charge using a charging USB that I will provide. If anything reads off, I’d like a quick note so we can decide whether to rework that unit before final shipment.

All parts, tubes, new batteries, the charger, and detailed instructions will be provided; you’ll only need your fine-tip soldering setup, flux, heat shrink, and the usual safety gear for small lithium-ion packs. Because of eyesight due to diabetes, and unsteady hands due to neuropathy now slow me down, I’m looking to hand this over within a modest budget but with the same care I’ve always applied myself.

Deliverables:
• 15 e-cigarettes cleaned at solder areas, re-soldered, re-tubed, and cosmetically intact.
• Pass report showing both activation, and successful charge on the charger for every unit.
• Any notes on anomalies or rework carried out.

Ship the finished devices back to me once they all clear the checklist and we’re done. Thanks in advance for helping me keep these vapes alive.
