Position Summary
We are seeking a highly meticulous Contract Cable Harness Soldering Technician for a temporary engagement with regular work volume. The core responsibility is the precise and high-quality soldering of cable harnesses onto a variety of lead-acid batteries.
This role demands an exceptional commitment to quality, as all work must be executed to a very high standard, strictly following detailed specifications provided in both written and pictorial form.
Key Responsibilities and Deliverables
The technician will be responsible for the following critical tasks:

High-Precision Soldering: Execute flawless soldering of cable harnesses to lead-acid battery terminals, ensuring robust and reliable electrical connections.
2.
Specification Adherence: Meticulously follow the provided documentation for three distinct types of cable harness assemblies, each with unique, basic requirements.
3.
Quality Control: Perform self-inspection of all completed work to guarantee compliance with the stringent quality standards and precise requirements.
4.
Be prepared for an immediate start to accommodate project timelines.
Candidate Requirements
Technical Expertise: Proven experience in high-quality soldering, particularly with battery terminals, or similar high-current applications.
Meticulousness: A demonstrated ability to work with extreme precision and attention to detail, understanding the critical nature of the work.
Instructional Compliance: The capacity to accurately interpret and execute complex instructions from both written specifications and visual guides.
Location Preference: Candidates based near Tiverton or Liskeard are highly desirable, though all qualified applicants will be considered.
