Project description
I am an Australian electrical contractor preparing a large commercial tender for a behind-the-meter solar PV and battery energy storage system (BESS) at a multi-tenant retail site in Victoria.
This role is to support a Round 1 tender submission only. The focus is technical accuracy, clear assumptions, and tender-ready outputs.
This project is also a trial for ongoing tender support work on future commercial projects.
Scope of work
You will be provided with:
*Site address and basic drawings
*Solar PV system sizes by tenancy
*Roof layout constraints
*Assumed inverter and module types
Your scope:
*Energy modelling for multiple rooftop PV systems
*Monthly and annual energy output tables (MWh)
*Clear modelling assumptions suitable for tender submission
*One conservative base-case scenario
No grid export modelling. Behind-the-meter only.
Deliverables
*Monthly production table per system
*Total site production summary
*Assumptions list written for a formal tender
*Editable spreadsheet format
*Required experience
Mandatory:
*Commercial solar PV modelling experience
*Multi-building or multi-meter site experience
*Strong written English
Preferred:
*Australian commercial solar experience
*Familiarity with PVsyst, Helioscope or Solar Plus
*Exposure to battery-backed systems
Residential-only experience is not suitable.
