Budget: $15 – $25 USD
The senior full-stack developer, will lead all phases of the software development life cycle, including design, coding, testing, deploying, maintaining and providing production support of solutions. This position will partner with other developers, analysts and consultants to conceptualize and validate solutions that meet the business and customers’ requirements. A senior full-stack developer, including front-end, back-end and mobile development, will also be required to mentor more junior developers through all phases of the development lifecycle.
Main Responsibilities
• Do architectural design and documentation for given projects.
• Plan and allocate project resources.
• Maximise the utilisation of team members and grow the team’s capacity to deliver through mentoring.
• Set an example and give input into processes and practices by insisting on the highest quality standards of design and development and improve the team’s standards through thorough code reviews, sufficient code coverage during testing and effective mentoring.
• Improve the team’s efficiency by setting an example and mentoring to improve more junior developer’s working efficiency.
• Communicate effectively and pre-emptively with supervisors as well as more junior developers to facilitate clear and transparent communication. Raise any project or products issues on the primary task management tool.
• Meet project deadlines and outcomes as per design specification, while insisting on the highest quality. Clearly and pre-emptively communicate project risks to relevant stakeholders.
• Actively participate in DevOps aspects of current or new projects/products, automating necessary system/environment monitoring tools and alerts.

Qualifications and Experience Required
• A relevant software development degree.
• 10+ years active software development experience in using common front-end frameworks such as ReactJS/VueJS, backend frameworks such as ExpressJS/SpringBoot, as well as native mobile development in Android (Java/Kotlin) and/or iOS (Swift).
• Experience in architectural design and documentation.
• Experience creating and consuming REST APIs.
• Experience in resource planning for projects.
• Experience in mentoring more junior developers.
• Git version control experience in a team environment.
• Agile development methodologies experience.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
Additional Skills/Experience Desired
• Experience with real-time Payments Systems (ACI Postilion, ACI UPF, ISO8583/ISO20022, PCI, etc.).
• Understanding of EFT protocols and message standards such as ISO 8583/ISO20022 etc.
• ACI Postilion or Base24 exposure.
• Product Management experience
• Cloud architectures experience (AWS/GCP, Docker/Kubernetes, etc.).
• Build-systems experience such as Gradle, Maven etc.
• Linux CLI and bash scripting experience
