Windows 10/11 App Testing

Job ID: 40399511

Budget: $15 – $25 USD

I’m getting ready to release a new productivity application and need a fresh set of eyes to put the current Windows build through its paces. You’ll run the installer on both Windows 10 and Windows 11, explore every major workflow, and report back on anything that compromises functionality or drags down performance.

Here’s what success looks like for me:
• A clear, well-structured bug list that includes steps to reproduce, expected vs. actual behaviour, severity, and any crash logs or screenshots.
• Basic performance observations—load times, CPU/RAM usage, and any spikes you notice—captured with tools such as Task Manager, Resource Monitor, or your preferred profiler.
• A short summary of overall stability: how the app behaves after prolonged use, quick task switching, and running alongside other common desktop software.

UI polish isn’t the priority right now; I’m focused on whether everything works and whether it does so efficiently. If you uncover anything outside these areas that looks critical, feel free to flag it, but the main deliverable is a concise report on functionality and performance across both operating systems.

I’ll get you the installer, sample data, and a quick start guide as soon as we kick off.
