Eligible areas: Sapporo, Sendai, Niigata, Saitama, Tokyo (23 Wards), Chiba, Yokohama, Kawasaki, Sagamihara, Shizuoka, Hamamatsu, Nagoya, Kyoto, Osaka, Sakai, Kobe, Okayama, Hiroshima, Fukuoka, Kitakyushu, Kumamoto.
This is a testing project for a leading smart home device manufacturer. The project aims to test a new device that enhances traditional intercom systems by integrating them with a smart mobile application, allowing for audio and video interaction with visitors directly from your smartphone.
The smart home device bundle includes a hardware module and software components. The hardware is designed to interface with existing intercom systems to add smart functionalities. It connects via two to three wires to the existing intercom panel inside your home. The software component is an app that manages communication and control functionalities, allowing users to see and speak with visitors, and remotely unlock the door.
Important part - you are not supposed to do any testing or installation yourself. You don't even need any testing experience to participate.
The customer will send technicians to the homes of selected participants to install and then uninstall during the same visit a brand-new add-on. The visit will take several hours between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Participants only need to allow the technician access to their home for testing and to connect the customer’s device to intercom and Wi-Fi. Estimated time to complete all testing activities: 1 working day. Once the testing phase is over, a technician will remove the add-on and revert the intercom to its original state.
Before the technician visit is scheduled, prior compatibility check of your intercom system is required. Pre-selected participants will be contacted with a few additional questions to confirm device compatibility, availability, and to provide photos of their intercom and address.
If you meet the initial eligibility requirements, there is a high chance you will be pre-selected and can eventually earn $300 (approx. 46,000 JPY).
