Senior QA Engineer for SAP eCommerce Platform Testing
Budget: $2 – $8 USD
We need an experienced Senior QA Engineer to join our agile development team and ensure the quality of a high-performance eCommerce platform built on SAP systems.
You'll be responsible for comprehensive test management and execution, working on quality improvements for our online store while maintaining high standards and delivering a flawless shopping experience for customers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform test analysis based on business requirements and user stories
• Design, document, and execute test cases for web and mobile applications
• Conduct functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing
• Validate complex eCommerce workflows including product catalog, pricing, checkout, and order management
• Work closely with Product Owners, Developers, and stakeholders
• Log, track, and verify defects with clear reproduction steps
• Continuously improve QA processes and testing efficiency
Required Skills & Experience:
• Minimum 4 years as QA Engineer/Software Tester, preferably in eCommerce
• Strong expertise in test analysis and design techniques
• Experience with web-based applications and API testing
• Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Experience with defect tracking tools (Jira, Zephyr)
• Knowledge of SAP Ecommerce system and backend workflows
• Testing experience with SAP S/4 HANA (Tosca Tricentis)
• Automation testing experience (Playwright, JavaScript)
• Excellent analytical and communication skills with fluent English
Must-Have Requirements:
• SAP system knowledge as described above
• MacBook with M1 chip minimum and 300GB free space (for VM installation)
• Availability 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM CET, Monday-Friday
Deliverables:
• Comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Detailed defect reports with reproduction steps
• Test execution reports and quality metrics
• Process improvement recommendations
This is a part-time position with consistent daily hours. The project runs through the end of the year with potential for extension.
