Mac Proctoring App Tester

Job ID: 40122486

Budget: $20 – $25 USD

This project involves putting our online proctoring system through four real-world sessions on an Apple-silicon MacBook (M2 or M3) with a functioning webcam and microphone. Each session will mimic an actual exam—sometimes a multiple-choice test, other times an essay prompt—so that I can watch how the platform responds when you deliberately bend the rules.

During every run you will:

• join the exam through a unique link I provide,
• attempt typical cheating tactics—leaving the test window, having someone stand nearby, speaking out loud, or using hidden materials—while our live-monitoring, automatic-flagging, and audio/video recording features try to catch you in the act.

Afterwards I’ll need a brief report describing what you did, which flags were raised (or missed), and any technical glitches you noticed. We’ll repeat the cycle four times over the month to cover variations and updates.

A stable internet connection, native macOS camera access, and clear audio are essential. Screen-recording your side is optional but appreciated, as it helps me verify timing and context for any missed alerts.

If you have the required hardware and can commit to the four scheduled sessions, I will send you one link to try.
