EIT Project
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
a device designed for the early detection of water leakage consists of a structure embedded with a minimum of 12 electrodes. These electrodes measure impedance across multiple points to generate a comprehensive impedance map .
This impedance map is visualized through a color-coded display where color variations reflect changes in impedance. When a water leaks , it reduces impedance between the electrodes, which is reflected as a color change on the map. A reference point can be set at any moment to capture baseline impedance, enabling the system to highlight deviations with clarity. The resulting image must remain stable and clearly indicate the presence and location of leaks.
The device hardware currently exists but suffers from functional and stability issues that require resolution. The following scope of work outlines the repair, optimization, and enhancement tasks required to bring the system to reliable operational status.
*Project will be separate into several sub project's
Sub-Project 1: System Core Fixes
Scope:
Review and cleanup of the existing Python codebase
Fix and implement reference frame logic to ensure the reference button properly resets the display and the map is white showing only changes from reference point
Bugs fixation
Stabilize image output using appropriate filtering and display corrections
Conduct initial testing with sample data and hardware to verify fixes
Goal:
A stable, functioning core system with a responsive and correct reference system
The system will be tested by the customer by injecting water and observing a visible color change on the impedance map showing the leakage area with good resolutions
Deliverables:
•Clean, functional core system code
•Demonstration of stable image rendering under test conditions
•Confirmation of reference system logic working as intended
Payments:
_____ will be paid upon successful completion and customer approval of the sub-project
