Cypress Test Automation Engineer

Duties

Create automated testing scripts using Cypress
Manual testing to assist with product releases
Writing clear bug reports with easy to reproduce steps
Should be able to create and review the automation framework based on project/organization need
Troubleshooting and problem solving
Good communication skills and ability to communicate/work independently
Enhance and adhere to company development and business processes
Enhance our DevOps and DevSecOps capabilities
Improve the product quality and company quality processes
Write technical documentation and presentations
Recommend improvements to existing software programs and processes as necessary
Quickly and thoroughly learn new technologies required to perform duties
Provide technical support to front line support staff, directly to customers as needed, and collaborate with external API users
Work diligently to protect the assets of the company and its customers
Be part of the company’s on-call rotation
Collaborate with the team during Toronto business hours
Open to advancing to a developer role

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of automation testing experience
Very good experience in automation framework, creating automation test scripts and execution

Important Note

The expectation is that the Consultant will invoice no more than 20 hours per week.
You can earn up to $100/ week and upto $400 / month
