WebObjects Dev Environment Upgrade
Budget: $25 – $50 USD
I'm looking to update my WebObjects development environment. I've been developing software for decades on the original Apple WebObjects environment, now decades old. I have a large body of code which I want to migrate to new hardware, with a development environment and runtime that more current. I see that there are projects still being developed with WebObjects-based systems, but the information I need to preform the migration is not easy to access or implement. I need help to build a more modern development and run-time environment that will allow the continued development of my current WebObjects projects.
The tasks include hosting on modern hardware and upgrading to the Project Wonder development environment.
Key Requirements:
- Host the environment on dedicated servers
- Preferably using macOS, but Linux is acceptable
- Update to the Project Wonder software software environment
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Extensive experience with WebObjects, and preferably Project Wonder
- Familiarity with both macOS and Linux, with a focus on server-side applications
- Ability to assess and utilize modern hardware effectively
