Position Overview
Jnanasethu IT Labs (OPC) Private Limited is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Software Developer – Software Quality Tester who possesses strong knowledge of software development and quality assurance practices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, testing, validating, and maintaining software applications while ensuring adherence to industry quality standards throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
The candidate should have hands-on knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), Validation Life Cycle (VLC), V-Model, and Gamfire Model methodologies, along with proficiency in software testing tools and development frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
Software Development
• Design, develop, and maintain software applications based on business requirements.
• Participate in requirement analysis, system design, coding, debugging, and deployment activities.
• Develop scalable, maintainable, and secure software solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand functional and technical requirements.
• Prepare technical documentation, design specifications, and user manuals.
Software Quality Testing
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Perform Functional, Integration, System, Regression, Smoke, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Identify, document, track, and verify software defects using bug-tracking tools.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and software validation requirements.
• Analyze test results and provide recommendations for improvements.
Process & Quality Assurance
• Implement and follow SDLC, STLC, and Validation Life Cycle processes.
• Apply V-Model and Gamfire Model methodologies during project execution.
• Participate in code reviews and quality audits.
• Ensure traceability between requirements, development, testing, and validation activities.
• Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives.
