RAM Diagnostic Software Development

I need a small, purpose-built application that helps me confirm whether the intermittent crashes on my machine are really coming from bad RAM modules. Hardware replacement is a last resort, so I would like a software-level tool that can stress-test the memory, flag faulty addresses and generate an easy-to-read report I can act on.
The core of the job is writing the program—preferably in Python, C, or any language you believe gives the most reliable low-level access—to run a full sweep on DDR4 sticks. A CLI version is fine as long as the output clearly labels pass / fail sectors and the overall health percentage. If you can wrap it in a lightweight GUI (Tkinter, Electron, or similar), that’s a bonus, but accuracy of the tests comes first.
Deliverables:
• Source code with clean, well-commented functions
• Step-by-step build/run instructions for Windows 10
• A sample report generated after a successful test run
The tool has to run without needing third-party paid libraries; relying on open-source modules such as psutil or ctypes is acceptable. Once I compile and execute the program on my end and it pinpoints bad addresses consistently, I’ll consider the project complete.
