Python Developer for Logging Enhancement

Freelance Python Developer – Short-Term Logging Enhancement (dltHub / DuckDB)

Project Context:
This is an open-source pipeline creation and management platform, maintained by the original developer.

Engagement Overview:
I’m looking for a freelance Python developer who values clean code and solid software development to implement a small, well-scoped logging enhancement on top of an existing code base.

Task Overview
Persist logs from dltHub pipeline runs that are currently only printed.
Capture additional application-level Python logs.
Apply minor tweaks to existing dltHub templates to generate richer logs.
Store all logs persistently in DuckDB.

Scope & Constraints
Work on an existing implementation (no new system design).
Expected effort: 6–8 hours total.
Focus on clean, minimal, and maintainable changes.
