IT Job Search Assistance
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
I’m ready to move into my next IT role within the technology sector and I’d like a specialist to take the lead on the job-search side so I can stay focused on sharpening my code. My résumé and portfolio are current; what I need now is a steady flow of well-matched openings, strategic application support, and organised follow-ups that keep me visible to hiring managers.
You’ll be sourcing opportunities from the usual tech hangouts—LinkedIn, GitHub Jobs, Stack Overflow Jobs, Wellfound/AngelList, company career pages—and any other niche boards you know that cater to software engineers. I’m open to backend, full-stack or related developer positions, ideally at companies using modern stacks (JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Go, cloud-native).
Deliverables I’d like to receive each week:
• A spreadsheet (Google Sheets or Excel) listing at least 20 roles that match my skills, complete with links, application deadlines, tech stack, and a short “why this fits” note.
• A tracker that shows where each application stands—applied, interview requested, follow-up needed—so nothing slips through the cracks.
• Brief, role-specific cover-letter or intro email snippets I can drop straight into applications or recruiter messages.
• A short summary of any networking leads you uncover (recruiter names, hiring managers, relevant communities).
Acceptance criteria: the openings must be located in time-zones compatible with EST or be fully remote; roles should list software development as the primary responsibility (not pure DevOps or support); and at least 70 % of the postings each week must use one of the languages in my skills list, which I’ll share once we start.
If this sounds like your sweet spot, tell me how you normally tackle sourcing and what tools or automations you rely on so we can get moving right away.
