I need a straightforward application that will let me treat every commercial vehicle in my fleet as its own cost centre and instantly see its true per-hour operating cost.
The program must allow me to enter and store the full range of running expenses:
• Fuel consumption
• Driver wages
• Maintenance costs
• Tyre cost / tyre expenses
• Repairs, spare parts, and tools
• Scheduled services
• Operator or helper salary
While all of the items above need to be recorded, the software must also flag the three essentials—fuel consumption, driver wages, and tyre expenses—for quick-view summaries.
Key expectations
• Clean dashboard that shows the calculated per-hour cost for each vehicle at a glance.
• Ability to update any cost component at any time and have the totals refresh automatically.
• Exportable reports (PDF and Excel) so I can share numbers with my accounts team.
• Cloud, desktop, or hybrid deployment is fine as long as data entry is simple and the system runs smoothly on Windows PCs.
