Create Acrobat 7 Portable
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
I already own the original acrobat709.exe installer and need it rebuilt into a genuinely portable edition that I can drop onto any secondary drive or folder and run straight away—no registry writes, no services, no extra plugins. It must launch and work flawlessly on Windows 7, Windows 10, and Windows 11 for nothing more than everyday PDF reading.
I do not need form-filling, annotation, or interface tweaks; the classic feature set is perfect. The key requirement is simple: double-click Reader from whatever drive it sits on and have it behave exactly as the installed version would, keeping its settings inside its own directory.
Acceptance criteria
• A single compressed package (ZIP, 7z, or similar) containing the portable build, ready to unpack and run.
• Verified startup without errors on clean installations of Win 7, Win 10, and Win 11.
• All user preferences stored locally within the portable folder, leaving the host system untouched.
• A short README explaining how you created the build and how to update or re-package it in the future.
