I own an automotive gas analyzer designed for spark-ignition engines (gasoline engines). The device is relatively old (manufactured in 1999), but it is still functional and provides relevant emission data.
I am looking for a developer to create a custom software solution with the following capabilities:
Connect to the gas analyzer (likely via serial/COM port or similar legacy interface)
Read and display the data provided by the analyzer in real time
Allow modification or calibration of the received data (only if necessary and within reasonable limits)
Generate and print a structured emissions report
Additional requirements:
The software should be stable and easy to use
Compatibility with modern Windows systems is preferred
Clean and intuitive interface (UI/UX)
Documentation or basic guidance for usage is a plus

Since the device is older, the developer may need to work with legacy communication protocols and possibly reverse engineer or interpret the data format.
