need PHP developer to join our team
Budget: $15 – $25 AUD
Hi we are on the hunt to hire an exceptional PHP developer to work with us on our meta search project. It is fundamentally built on PHP 7+ (MySQLnd, OpenSSL, cURL, mbstring) & MySQL 5+ and we piggy back on Bing Search using our corporate API key rather then maintain our own spider crawler and our own database but this is on our future updates. There is some new works we are looking to implement and we are needing to expand our development team. Currently we are privately funded so we are still in very much startup mode but as we grow and expand there is BIG plans to evolve and expand our features.
Here is a small list of tasks we want to develop and add to oour platform.
1) We want to bring in a maps facility as well as offer directions. I know there are many maps providers out there that also offer directions when given a 'to and from' address like point to point. So we want to set this up like Google does with Google maps. We want to brand it ours and keep users on our website as part of this new feature.
2) We are looking at creating a user account within our platform and it will be basic to start with but as we grow we will add new tools and features.
3) one of the things we want to add is a My Business feature like google does where owners can add their business to our search platform and it will show 3-4 results from that list of business where relevant. like a search for "location + restaurants" if it is a restaurant it will come up in the results and as well as that we want the ability for that business to have a reviews section where other users can review their business and it will come up on the search results. Again you need to be logged it to be able to submit a review.
We have many more too do but this will be enough to start.
