We're hiring a Technical Architect

We're hiring an experienced Technical Architect to take the lead in guiding and overseeing the web development process. Responsibilities:
- Strategic thinking about the development of the platform
- Coming up with technical solutions and planning
- Writing instructions for our developers
- Checking daily commits in Git in combination with development hours to measure productivity
- Guiding the web developers by answering questions about development
- Assigning tickets to developers in planning software

Technical proficiency
- String understanding of software development principles, architectures and best practices
- Deep understanding of Python, Javascript, Vue + Vuetify
Cloud and infrastructure Expertise:
- Deep understanding of AWS and cloud-based architectures
- Ability to design scalable, reliable and high-performance infrastructure for Saas architectures
Architecture
- Deep understanding of Security, Data processing/isolation, and Scalability
- Knowledge about open-source code and implementation
API Design and integration
- Skills in designing robust and well-documented APIs for both internal and external use.
- Ability to integrate with third-party services and APIs to enhance the functionality of the SaaS platform.
Security Awareness:
- Strong knowledge of security best practices, including data protection, authentication, authorization, and encryption.
- Awareness of compliance requirements relevant to SaaS platforms (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
- Performance Optimization:
- Experience with optimizing application performance, including database tuning, caching strategies, and load balancing.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively with development teams, product managers, and other stakeholders.
Leadership and Mentorship:
- Experience leading technical teams, providing guidance, and mentoring junior developers.
- Ability to drive technical excellence and enforce coding standards within the team.
Adaptability and Learning Agility:
- Willingness to stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies.
- Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and evolving technology landscapes.
Strategic Thinking:
- Capacity to align technical decisions with business goals and contribute to the overall SaaS platform strategy.
Documentation Skills:
- Ability to create comprehensive technical documentation that aids in understanding the architecture and development processes.
Previous SaaS Experience:
- Experience working on or architecting SaaS platforms is a strong plus, as it demonstrates an understanding of the unique challenges in this domain.
