This project is for windows desktop software to extract image links from a *.csv file and bulk download them using wget, then renaming the downloaded jpg files.
Program will load a *.csv file, then extract the links. The column labels from the csv input of the files that need to be downloaded are:
"profilePicUrl"
"latestPosts/0/displayUrl"
"latestPosts/1/displayUrl"
"latestPosts/2/displayUrl"
"latestPosts/3/displayUrl"
"latestPosts/4/displayUrl"
"latestPosts/5/displayUrl"
"latestPosts/6/displayUrl"
"latestPosts/7/displayUrl"
"latestPosts/8/displayUrl"
The user will download a specified folder on the hard drive to download the photos to... For example C:\alldownloadedphotos\ All the downloaded images will go into the same folder
Size of the input files:
The csv inputs will have up to about 50,000 entries, and with 10 images per entry.. the software will download about 500,000 images per input, so this software is for mass/bulk downloading.
I also need for 1 out of the 10 downloaded photos per entry, to be renamed after it is downloaded. The photo from the column "profilePicUrl" will be renamed using the file name from the "username" column. The file name will be username.jpg for the 1 photo to be renamed.
To be awarded the winning bid, please deliver a sample of 50 entries downloaded and renamed. Once I receive and review the sample I will award the project and await the delivery of the software. The budget for this downloader software is $50. (Attached is a sample csv for testing) Good luck!
