Submarine Hull Design and Analysis in Paramarine

Job ID: 39295885

Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR

I'm seeking a skilled professional to develop and model a submarine hull form in Paramarine. It’s important to leverage open source data and make reasonable assumptions when necessary. The project encompasses several tasks:

(a) Hull Geometry Development: You'll need to design the pressure hull, outer hull, and appendages. Basic placement and sizing of ballast, trim, and compensation tanks will also be required.

(b) Hydrostatic Curves and Stability Assessment: This will involve evaluating the stability of the hull in surface, submerged, and transition states, as well as generating trim polygons and surface unsinkability plots. Standard hydrostatic and stability plots will be sufficient.

(c) Powering Calculations: This will include calculating all hull-propeller interaction coefficients, selecting a suitable propeller, and sizing the prime mover.

(d) Maneuvering Calculations: You'll need to assess the hull's maneuverability in both the horizontal and vertical plane, calculate the critical speed and neutral point, and position and size the hydroplanes.

Ideal skills for this project include proficiency in Paramarine, substantial experience in submarine hull design, and a solid understanding of hydrostatics and stability assessments. Please ensure your proposal reflects your relevant experience and capabilities.
