Service that registers train traffic delays (Sweden)
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I am looking for a developer to create a service that registers train traffic delays specifically for the Swedish market. The service's main purpose is to provide historical data on train traffic delays. Operators of interest are SJ, SL, Mälartåg and Östgötatrafiken - where data for these operators are available through an API at trafiklab.se
Platform:
- The platform can be discussed and decided upon based on the developer's expertise and recommendations. Key request is that delayed/cancelled trains can be looked up for different stations during a specific date.
- However, it is important to note that the service is intended for private use only.
- Data is obtained through API available at trafiklab.se
Features:
- On 2023-08-15, what trains were cancelled/delayed
- Other features such as real-time updates on train delays and data visualization of train delays are not necessary for this project.
- Most importantly, it needs to be practical and robust.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Knowledge of data tracking and analysis.
- Familiarity with train traffic systems in Sweden would be a plus.
Please provide examples of similar projects you have worked on in the past.
