To keep our database clean, we need software that automatically runs SQL statements on a daily basis and sends an email to a specified email address when there are results. For example, the software can be used to check whether a new client has an address outside of the United States.
Requirements:
1. The software shall allow Admin users to input SQL select statements via a text editor or command line gui interface.
2.The software shall connect to a specified database using standard authentication credentials and execute the SQL select statement automatically every day on a specific time.
3.If the SQL select statement returns a result, the software shall send an email to the specified email address.
4.The email sent by the software shall include the query results in a readable format, such as a table or list.
5.The software needs to be installed easy on a windows server. With a setup file, password protected.
6.When installed,the software is password protected, admin can change the password.
7.The software shall allow users to customize the email message and subject line.
8. The software shall support popular email protocols, such as SMTP, to ensure reliable email delivery.
9. The software shall log all SQL select statement execution and email sending activities for audit and troubleshooting purposes.
10.The software shall be compatible with commonly used database management systems, such as MySQL, Oracle, and SQL Server.
11.The software shall provide clear error messages and guidance to users when SQL select statements fail to execute or emails fail to send.
12.The software shall be secure and protect sensitive information, such as database credentials and email addresses, from unauthorized access or disclosure.
13.The software has to be webbased.
14.Admin can provide license for each client for 5 years.
15.Software will send a email when the license is almost finished.
