Senior .NET Microservices Infrastructure Consultant Needed

## Project Overview
Seeking an experienced .NET infrastructure consultant to design and implement a robust enterprise microservices architecture using .NET Aspire. The consultant will establish the foundational infrastructure, best practices, and reference implementations for our development team to follow.

## Consulting Focus Areas

### Core Infrastructure Design
- Design and implement a .NET Aspire infrastructure following enterprise best practices
- Establish containerization strategy with Docker and orchestration
- Set up CI/CD pipelines optimized for microservices deployment
- Define infrastructure-as-code approach for consistent environments

### Resilience & Reliability
- Implement Polly for resilience patterns (circuit breakers, retries, timeouts)
- Design health check systems for services
- Establish service discovery mechanisms
- Create fault tolerance and graceful degradation strategies

### API Management
- Design API Gateway architecture using YARP or Ocelot
- Implement rate limiting and throttling policies
- Establish API versioning strategy
- Configure cross-service request correlation

### Security Infrastructure
- Design authentication and authorization framework (OAuth2/OIDC)
- Implement secure cookie management and CSRF protection
- Establish secrets management best practices
- Define security headers and policies

### Observability Stack
- Design comprehensive logging infrastructure using Serilog/NLog
- Implement distributed tracing with OpenTelemetry
- Set up metrics collection and dashboards
- Create alerting and monitoring strategies
- Configure application performance monitoring

### Best Practices & Documentation
- Create architectural decision records (ADRs)
- Develop coding standards specific to microservices
- Document infrastructure patterns and reference implementations
- Provide knowledge transfer sessions for the development team

## Qualifications
- 8+ years of .NET development experience
- 4+ years specifically with microservices architectures
- Hands-on experience with .NET Aspire
- Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure (preferably Azure)
- Experience with observability stacks (logging, metrics, tracing)
- Strong understanding of security best practices
- Background in enterprise-scale applications

## Engagement Terms
- Initial 3-month engagement with possibility of extension
