Quotation Management system - I am in the automobile component manufacturing industry and we prepare a lot of quotes for our customers. Let me know if you think you can do this one.
The module should basically achieve the following
1. Prepare quotes for customers based on Part Numbers( basically we sell parts and each part is identified using a part number. In general terminology Part Number = Product Code)
2. Keep the data for further changes as per customer advise and generate revised quote.
3. Masters for storing master information like Customer master , Machine Master , Process Master , Shift Rate Master, Sub-Contractor Master.
4. Link different similar part numbers to compare quoted rates across different part numbers.
5. Generate Reports - Quotation export , Pending Quote report, Quote Vs Approved report etc with various filters like Machine , PRocess , Sub-Contract etc.
This is basically the gist. I can send across a sample quote for you once we handshake.
