Ping online and offline servers

I'm trying to automate my morning daily tasks as a Sys Admin. I have a small batch file which I run locally to tell me with servers are online or offline via pinging each. I would like to develop a script that can do the same but also email those results to the help desk. I would add this script to the scheduler in Windows server to run each morning.
