MacOS Data Miner for Spotify

I require a native desktop version of the functionality found in this solution: github.com/schollz/spotifydownload. I'm looking for a simple, fast and lightweight software with a UI that relies on the OS menu bar.
You must have extensive experience building native desktop applications for both Mac (ARM/Intel) and Windows operating systems. You must be proficient at Git. MEAN/MERN web technology knowledge is also beneficial, as this is the beginning of a larger project.
