Interactive Brokers API Automated Trading Software -- 2
Budget: £250 – £750 GBP
I'm looking for an experienced software developer who can create an automated trading software that interacts with The Interactive Brokers Trader Work Station (TWS) API. This software will be used to trade both futures contracts and shares simultaneously, using several indicators (specifically, 5 exponential moving averages).
Key features of the software should include:
- Dynamic trading volume: The software should allow for the trading volume to be dynamic, based on market conditions.
- Automated trade execution: The software will need to automatically execute trades when the trading criteria are met.
- Adjustable position sizing: There should be a facility to change the instructions for taking a position, from 1 long or 1 short, to 2 or more contracts for futures, or from 100 to 10000 shares for stocks.
- Manual control: The software should also allow for manual intervention, with a facility for starting and stopping the trading process at will, unless a pre-set time for trading is indicated.
Ideal candidates for this project should have a solid understanding of trading strategies and experience with the Interactive Brokers TWS API. A strong background in software development, particularly in creating trading software, is highly desirable.
