Backend Developer
Budget: $40 – $70 AUD
Requirements:
• Minimum 4-5 years commercial experience developing applications using Node.js and Typescript.
• Experience designing REST and GraphQL APIs and building micro services architecture.
• Commercial experience with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, SQ Server and NoSQL databases like MongoDB, DynamoDB is also necessary.
• Experience building secure application with Okta, Auth0, Cognito or other identity & access management solutions and implementing authorization features between multiple systems.
• Experience implementing ETL processes using tools like Data Stage, Athena, Informatica, AWS Glue, etc.
• Experience using AWS cloud services including API Gateway, Lambda, S3, Glue and Redshift.
• Experience building and deploying cloud native applications in AWS or Azure cloud platforms.
• Experience using CI/CD tools like Code pipeline, DevOps, Jenkins, Bamboo and GIT.
• Experience integrating multiple data sources and databases into one central platform.
• Understanding differences between multiple delivery platforms, such as mobile vs. desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform.
• Demonstrate understanding of OWASP Top 10 for web application security including securing of APIs.
• Ability to work collaboratively with frontend developers to create internal REST APIs.
• Demonstrate understanding of coding best practices, design patterns, event driven architecture, centralised logging, monitoring and alerting.
• React, Angular, Python and PHP experience is highly regarded.
• Able to work autonomously whilst receiving feedback and requirements in a collaborative environment.
• Engage with clients in collaboration with the project team to understand technical needs and solutions.
• Strong experience of Agile work environments is highly desirable.
