VB6 Classic - Mysql Characters Error

I need a simple code to connect to mysql from VB6 (Only the connection and retriving information). I am using the code in the attachment and the driver attachment too, but have problems with some characters, specially "ñ". I try a lot of codes but don´t work. Using Navicat to connect show correct the characters, but from VB6 no.
