Build me a customer facing data portal (web)
Budget: £18 – £36 GBP
Project is to build web pages to enable front end web data capture from users and a database to support
You (or team) should be able to evidence:
> Full stack engineering skills (Java, CSS, HTML, XML, PHP/Java, JSON etc etc) - front and backend
> Database expertise in particular and architecture to get this set up
High level requirements:
(a) Secure login in for users/organisational accounts and secure access for read/write of their data, recording and timestamping any changes.
(b) Secure DB storage – specific user secure access and admin access for calculations
(c) Multiple modes of data collection – forms, APIs (to accounting software – can be CSV or excel uploads in the short term for MVP), surveys sent to suppliers and employees on provision of email addresses, direct tabular data entry.
(d) More complex (non-MVP) systems mapping may be required for some sectors
(e) Modules for data collection presented depending on key inputs e.g. number of sites > drives presentation of the same set of questions for each site; sector type will result in a sector-specific module of questions being presented etc
(f) Data tagging hierarchies so that cuts of data can be pulled out at aggregated and disaggregated levels.
(g) Ideally presented in the member’s area of the website – but can be a microsite/link off from marketing website as needed. Security is key – users/organisations should only be able to see their own information.
(h) Organisational user (main), then sub users within their data collection (who can’t see any other info except their requested parts) – to include employees, suppliers etc who will get specific data requests by email and then enter the platform to enter data.
(i) Be extensible so that we can rapidly edit / add questions, build new modules and logic based on the architecture
