Build a Basic Trading Bot for Interactive Brokers Account
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
Looking to build a fairly basic options trading bot to automate what I currently do manually each day in my Interactive Brokers account.
If you're capable and interested, I can give you more details via messages, but here's the general steps:
1) At the start of each trading day, open a new position.
2) Also stage two stop-limit orders for the hedge.
3) Rule Trigger 1: If price crosses below X, short 2 /ES contracts at price X.
4) Rule Trigger 2: If price crosses back, close /ES position.
5) Rule Triger 3: If price crosses above Y, buy 2 /ES contracts at price X.
6) Rule Trigger 4: If price crosses back, close /ES position.
The goal being: The price should generally either always be within my position's "profit zone", or, should be nearly 100% hedged.
I already perform these steps manually in my IB account so I'm just looking for a way for a bot to monitor and automate these steps / triggers.
I have a linux based dedicated server that we can build this on, or I can get different hosting if necessary.
