Brave browser modification to connect to ZeroTier network
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD
I have a use case that is best supported by isolating a virtual network connection between a web app and the browser using ZeroTier and would like to use Brave as the starting point. The server hosting the web app would be connected to a ZeroTier network and the browser would allow the user to specify the ZeroTier network to join. Each unique instance of the browser should instantiate the virtual network stack in isolation to allow the user to specify a different ZeroTier network for each browser and network traffic transmitted through each instance of the browser should be restricted to the connected ZeroTier network. The application can be installable or portable (either is fine) and must be supported on Windows. Linux, macOS, iOS, and Android support is ideal but not required. I'm also open to seeing this implemented as an extension or plugin vice a standalone app, whatever works reliably.
We will also need a step-by-step guide for building the app from source, launching the app, and configuring the app.
I will be able to provide a dedicated github repository for this project, however the code will not be open source at this time and my organization will own all source code. We have stretch goals for this effort and do not have a developer on staff with the requisite skillset, so there may be follow-on work for updates, feature enhancements, and other standard lifecycle needs.
Core functionality: connect Brave browser process to existing ZeroTier network
Supported on: Windows 10 (required), all other operating systems (desired)

Desired timeline: functional proof of concept within 3 weeks, testing to be limited to 2 weeks assuming bugs that prevent core functionality are corrected.
Stretch Goals:
- managed option (ability to package the browser w/ a mandatory configuration file to restrict the user to the desired ZeroTier network and implement restrictions on what nodes the browser will accept network traffic from or send network traffic to)
- detailed audit and event logging
- alerts when connection attempts are detected (e.g., when another endpoint connected to the zero tier network attempts to connect)
- confirmed selenium support
- scripts to build from remote source to permit incorporating updates from Brave and ZeroTier
- command line functionality with access to all settings/parameters/configurations
