Assist with software license transfer LS-DYNA R9 (Perpetual owned license by us)

Our simulation software original was purchased many years ago installed on a computer workstation. Originally the software came with a USB key lock (Sentinel) which I could easily transfer from one computer to the next. As new updates were provided, the later software uses a virtual key in which I must call support to attain a different key if I were to transfer computers. This is not rented software, it is a perpetual license to me and fully legal. Recently I had a major hard drive corruption so a new hard drive was installed. Unfortunately the software is keyed to the System ID, possibly CPU serial and due to the new hard drive, and the fact that I did not renew my maintenance, the software company is requiring me to pay an absurd amount of money to generate a new key for an “administration fee”. Considering that the original OS went corrupt, I was unable to retrieve the original system ID as I would simply change the ID for the new OS.

I have an older version of the software LS-DYNA R7 working on the new system, license transferred without issue but the later version that we are licensed for LS-DYNA R9 will not run.

Scope of work,

Allow the ability to utilize LS-DYNA R9 software on our new computer. Because I own this software as a perpetual purchase / license (I have all the documentation), and I am not running multiple instances of the software, the vendor doesn’t care if I transfer the license to another computer by my own means – this was discussed to me from the vendor.

There is a expedited time requirement on this project. I need to be able to get the software running within 1 week.

I can provide the following:
The software installations files
A backup of the old computer hard drive (that ran the software originally)
My license agreement – proving that this software belongs to me (if that is an issue)
All previous license files
Current fully functional license (software vendor had given me a temporary license to use which is fully functional but time limited)
System information generation software – To retrieve new license, we are to run a generator software which generates a file that we send to the vendor. The vendor then replies with a new license.
System information (current configuration) generated from this software
Anything else required can be most likely accommodated.

Please do not bit on this project until you have fully read and understood the project in it's entirety. If I release the project to you and you can't complete it, you will receive negative feedback. I don't want to waste my time as much as yours.
