This role requires expertise in developing secure, scalable solutions to enhance operational efficiency, security, and data-driven decision-making for businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, and deploy a Video Management System (VMS) with real-time integration to POS transaction data.
Implement License Plate Recognition (LPR) and Facial Recognition modules using AI/ML frameworks.
Integrate VMS with POS systems via API development to enable features like video search by transaction timestamps.
Troubleshoot and optimize system performance, ensuring high availability, security, and scalability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.
Develop automated workflows for motion detection, alerts, and intelligent monitoring.
Requirements:
Proven experience in software development with a focus on Video Management Systems (VMS) and POS integrations.
Expertise in License Plate Recognition (LPR) and Facial Recognition technologies.
Proficiency in API development and backend frameworks.
Strong knowledge of AI/ML tools: Python, OpenCV, SAM2, YOLOv8, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.
Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP) for deploying scalable solutions (S3, EC2, Lambda).
Familiarity with database systems (PostgreSQL) for storing POS transactions, video metadata, and user data.
Ability to troubleshoot system-level issues (latency, data synchronization, security vulnerabilities).
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior work on VMS-POS integrated products.
Experience with video storage/streaming protocols (RTSP).
Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for video and transactional data.
