Social Media Manager (Beauty Brand) — Instagram & TikTok Growth Specialist

Glossarium Beauty is a new lip gloss brand seeking a female Social Media Manager who is immersed in the beauty scene and has hands-on experience with lip gloss and cosmetics. This role requires a strong understanding of Instagram and TikTok trends, platform algorithms, and the ability to grow accounts under my approval and direction only.
You’ll receive raw content (videos, swatches, product imagery, etc.) and are expected to:
• Create and edit content that matches our brand aesthetic
• Strategically schedule and propose captions, sounds, hooks, and posting times
• Manage posting and account growth with algorithm-optimized strategies
• Never post or publish without explicit approval for each piece of content

Candidate Requirements:
• Must be a woman who uses and understands lip gloss trends, especially in the Gen Z & Millennial beauty space
• Strong marketing and content strategy experience, particularly for beauty brands
• Proven track record of account growth, with clear metrics (e.g., followers gained over time period, video views, engagement %, conversion)
• Ability to match and adapt to an existing brand style so all content looks cohesive
• Must attend a weekly 1:1 call or meeting every Sunday to discuss the brand vision, tone, and ongoing items like goals or next steps. This will also be used as feedback sessions.
• Familiarity with Canadian beauty market trends is a major asset
• Start proposal with the word “glue” to prove that you’ve fully read this description.
• Must be familiar with Meta Business Suite for managing and scheduling content on Instagram (no password sharing will be required)
