Help me get established in Fenton, MI.

My mother died two months ago and I have relocated from Vermont. I am nervous driving and dont want to get lost. I need help driving and organizing my life - bills. I want someone to work with me and explain how to live on my own. Basically talk me through everything by spending the week with me so i can take care of myself. I need to be shown what to do.
