Writing community - promotion, content finder, and member acquisition

I need help building up a new communiity for indie and amateur writers. The site is already set up, its part of Mighty Networks. Now it needs promoting, in order to attract members. I think it needs someone familiar with the newbie writing community, or at least part of other networks. You'd promote it, but also find useful content and post it. (guides for writing, self publishing etc..etc..) You'd help keep the place fresh, creating new groups within the community, changing the featured posts etc.. Job would be ongoing, maybe an hour or two each week?
