Job Overview
Create engaging short-form travel videos across multiple platforms using footage from our past trips to Europe, Iceland, Chicago, and more. You'll be responsible for editing, posting, and engaging with our audience while providing strategic insights on platform-specific trends.
Responsibilities:
- Edit and produce high-quality short-form videos tailored specifically for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts
- Create platform-specific content that aligns with each platform's audience preferences and algorithm
- Develop and maintain a consistent visual theme across all content
- Provide weekly content posting schedules with strategic recommendations
- Research and advise on current trends for each platform
- Engage with our audience by responding to comments bi-weekly
- Interact with other travel-focused accounts to increase visibility
- Deliver weekly summary reports including performance metrics, successes, challenges, and recommendations
Requirements:
- Proven experience creating engaging short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube
- Strong understanding of each platform's unique algorithms, trends, and audience preferences
- Excellent video editing skills and proficiency with relevant software
- Creative storytelling ability with travel content
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage authentically with audiences
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently
- Experience in the travel niche preferred
