Social Media/email marketing for the WANGARI FUND
Budget: £10 – £20 GBP
THE WANGARI FUND August 30th 2021.
RE: Tecchie input for an on-line and social media fund raiser.
For some time, as a small Group we have been supporting and have great affection for a young man in Kiambu Kenya. Support in this context means finding funds for his education and VERY IMPORTANTLY to make sure he has a sound upbringing in his home - his is a single mother who does a wonderful job, she has excellent standards and values, sadly is un-educated, and in Kenya today her chance of respectable employment is tragically slim. David is now starting at his new Secondary School, the early signs are very promising and we are in regular contact. The time has now come when our small Group needs to reach out in an effort to broaden the base of this support and a social media and email campaign is being prepared. This activity will be conducted through an Un-Registered Charity. Content for an appropriate message has been drafted (which will no doubt be further refined) and a choice of good images exists. Professional input is now needed in the following ways:
i. Technical aspects of making sure that the final message can to be transmitted and forwarded using both and either/or email, social media, sms, simple hand-out, or magazine small advertisement eg: church, social groups or just as a simple hand-out.
ii. Design and amalgamation of text and image(s) into a single document able to convey impact at first sight.
iii. To expand as widely as appropriately possible, an existing list of addressees to include not only friends but also relevant other names of possible donors be they individual, charitable or corporate.
iv. Assistance with creation of a basic data recording. mailing and accounting methodology.
Least cost is important but doing the job right probably makes the difference between success and failure.
