Social Media Video Editor Needed
Budget: $10 – $30 CAD
What I need
• Daily videos or at least 3 to 4 videos per week
• Length: 20 to 60 seconds each
• Format: vertical 9:16, 1080p
• No sound in the final file. I will add music or sounds inside each app
• Simple, light editing that feels clean and modern
• Smooth zoom in and zoom out on faces or important moments
• Light color correction so videos look bright and clear
• Add on screen text captions that I provide, or simple captions you write from my notes
• No fancy crazy transitions. I want the content to feel natural and easy to watch
My style
• Humour, “Expectation vs Reality”, real life parent moments, work from home, and human error vs world perfect
• Videos must be easy to understand without sound
• Clean readable text, big enough for phone screens
• I prefer white or light text with a simple solid background box when needed, so it is high contrast
Your tasks
• Take my raw clips (I will send by Google Drive, Dropbox, or similar)
• Choose the best moments, cut out boring parts
• Add zooms and small camera movements to keep attention
• Add on screen captions and titles in clear English (I will give script or bullet points)
• Export final file ready to upload to Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook Reels, and YouTube Shorts
• Deliver on time, every day or on agreed schedule
What I am looking for
• Strong experience editing short form content (Reels, TikTok, Shorts)
• You understand pacing, timing, and how to hook viewers in the first 3 seconds
• Good eye for humour and facial expressions
• Very reliable. If you say you will deliver 5 videos per week, you do it
• Comfortable working with a creator who uses text and video notes instead of voice calls
• You can follow a simple editing style and keep it consistent

This project will start with a paid test of 3 videos. If we both like the collaboration, I want a long term partnership and regular work for at least the next year.
