Overview:
Storm Guidance is seeking a talented and results-driven Freelance Social Media Specialist to audit, enhance and manage our presence across LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter (X). This role focuses on both organic content strategy and paid advertising campaigns, with the ultimate goal of increasing targeted traffic to our group of websites, including our flagship cyber incident response service www.cyber.care.

We’re after someone who combines creativity with analytics – an individual who understands the tone and audience of each platform and knows how to craft content and campaigns that engage, convert, and align with our brand voice and strategic goals. We work in a difficult and stuffy market, so we need someone who can think outside the box, someone creative who can disrupt?
Key Responsibilities:
Audit & review our current social media presence and performance.
Develop a refreshed social media strategy tailored to each platform.
Plan, create, and schedule engaging organic content.
Design and manage paid ad campaigns on LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter, with clear performance targets.
Identify opportunities to grow our follower base and increase engagement with relevant audiences.
Monitor, report, and provide actionable insights using platform analytics and tracking tools.
Recommend improvements to drive qualified traffic to our websites.
Essential Skills & Experience:
Proven experience managing multi-channel social media strategies for B2B brands – ideally in cybersecurity, technology, or professional services.
Strong knowledge of LinkedIn Ads, Meta Ads, and Twitter Ads Manager.
Ability to create content (copy and visuals) or work with our internal designer where needed.
Comfortable working independently, but responsive and communicative.
Strong analytical skills to interpret data and optimise campaigns for performance.
Bonus if you have:
Experience with HubSpot, Google Analytics, or other CRM/analytics integrations.
Knowledge of SEO and how social fits into wider digital marketing strategies.
