Social Media Manager and Content Creator

Greetings!
We are a soon-to-be-opened family-owned restaurant located in the charming town of Youghal, Co. Cork. Currently in the process of restoring our building, we are eager to share our journey and warm up the community to our presence before our grand opening at the end of next year.

We are seeking a creative and dynamic Social Media Manager and Content Creator, preferably familiar with Youghal, Co. Cork area. You will play a pivotal role in building our online presence, engaging with our future customers, and shaping the digital face of our restaurant.

Responsibilities:

+Platform Selection: Choose one or two social media platforms best suited for our target audience and market, providing a rationale for your choices.
+Strategy Development: Develop a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with our brand values and goals.
+Account Creation and Management: Set up and manage social media accounts, ensuring they are regularly updated and reflect our brand's voice.
+Content Creation: Utilize provided photos and videos of our ongoing restoration process to create engaging, original content. We encourage creativity in presenting our journey to the public.
+Regular Posting: Maintain a consistent posting schedule to keep followers engaged and informed.
+Follower Engagement: Grow and attract followers through targeted strategies and engage with them actively to build a community around our brand.
+Performance Tracking: Meet set KPIs and provide regular reports on social media performance.
+Customer Interaction: Respond to comments, messages, and engage with followers and customers to build strong relationships.

Qualifications:

+Proven experience in social media management and content creation.
+Excellent understanding of various social media platforms, especially those recommended for our business.
+Strong communication and creative writing skills.
+Ability to create visually appealing content.
+Experience in the hospitality or restaurant industry is a plus.
+Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
