Social Media Manager
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
A social media manager and content developer is needed for a boutique, expert education consulting company that provides customized training and staff development work throughout the US and internationally in English-speaking countries. We train teacher coaches, school administrators, and school leadership teams in equitable instruction, teamwork skills, and student-focused coaching conversations.
We need a launch campaign and ongoing promotion strategy for a book release by a major industry publisher. The book will be published in January of 2022.
We need an ongoing social media plan and content creation to engage potential client-partners. There is no current social media presence for the company. We have a target audience and geographic priorities.
Duties
• Set and monitor marketing plan goals with president, review results quarterly
• Run company social media advertising campaigns via FB, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter, and BeReal
• Create high-quality and novel written and visual content for teacher coaches, school administrators, and school district administrators on each social media campaign. Previous experience with managing social media in US PK-12 education is imperative.
• Building brand awareness by engaging relevant influencers
• Managing company online communities to ensure respectful and appropriate engagement
• Responding to comments on each company's accounts
• Analyzing data to determine if social media campaigns achieved their objectives
• Design and source vendors for company merchandise for partners
• Maintain company spreadsheet of partners, potential partners, and marketing activity links.
• Write and distribute a quarterly newsletter
Skills and Qualifications:
• Strong writing and editing skills; provide sample new letters.
• Ability to pay attention to detail; the content will be read by educators
• Organization skills; provide prior experience managing large projects with references
• Skilled with social media management, provide previous evidence for PK-12 social media experience, former US, K-12 teacher or teacher coach experience preferred
• Thorough knowledge of social media marketing
